NEW Class Offering! Try It Ceramics: Handbuilding – Make a Mug Workshop! with artist Becca Scollan. In this 2.5 hour class located at Oldfields School’s ceramic studio (details below), students will learn the steps of the slab building process, while properly building a stoneware darted mug using a paper template. Students will also have the opportunity to apply textures and colors to embellish & personalize their mugs. All materials will be supplied, just show up with comfy clothes and a creative mindset.

Works will be left at the end of class to be fired in our kilns. Once the works are fired and complete, students will be notified and can pick up their finished pieces at Manor Mill, 2029 Monkton Road, Monkton, MD 21111, Wed-Sun, 12-6pm. We look forward to having you join us at our NEW satellite ceramics studio!

(Manor Mill Ceramics is expanding to Oldfields School to offer a wider array of hand-building classes and workshops than currently offered onsite at Manor Mill. Upon registration, you will receive a map and specific instructions on where to drive and park at Oldfields School for your ceramics class. Thank you!)
