DESCRIPTION:In this 4-week ceramics course\, students will be introduced to
  skills including throwing\, trimming\, and glazing. Basic forms on the wh
 eel include small cups\, bowls\, small plates and vases. As students progr
 ess\, more complex forms and techniques will be introduced. Every class wi
 ll start with a demonstration by the instructor\, followed by time working
  with clay with instructor supervision and encouragement. For students wit
 h little to no prior wheel experience. Includes 25lb clay and bisque firin
 g. Glazing additional charge. No previous wheel throwing experience needed
 . At the end of the session\, current students have an opportunity to repe
 at the 8-week course first\, before opening spots to the public.\n\nAges 1
 8+ (with expections)\n\nAdditional Notes:\n-Expect to get messy (wear appr
 opriate clothing/shoes &amp\; bring a lap towel)\n-Cut Fingernails\n-Bring
