SUMMARY:5-Week Monday Morning Wheel Throwing Class with Avrielle Jones (Jul
 y 7 - August 11)
DESCRIPTION:In this 5-week beginners ceramics course\, students will be int
 roduced to skills including throwing &amp\; trimming on the pottery wheel\
 , and finishing techniques with underglazes and glazes. Basic forms on the
  wheel include cups\, bowls\, small plates and vases will be created. As s
 tudents progress\, slightly more complex forms and advanced techniques wil
 l be introduced. Each class will start with a demonstration by the instruc
 tor\, followed by time working with clay with instructor supervision and e
 ncouragement. This class is for beginner students with little to no prior 
 wheel experience at all. Includes 25lb clay and bisque firing. Glazing is 
 an additional charge. Ages 18+. (Younger students (14+) may be admitted up
 on request\, but parents would need to remain on our property during the c
 lass.)\n\nAdditional Notes:\n\n-Skipping Monday\, August 4th (Instructor o
