SUMMARY:Brotherhood of Trees and Mike Errico in Concert and Conversation
DESCRIPTION:Brotherhood of Trees\n\nSongwriting duo Jay Livingston and Dann
y-O planted the Brotherhood of Trees in 2014 on a cold winter night in a r
ural Maryland studio under the watchful gaze of a giant pine grove.\n\nThe
following years harvested a catalog of music rooted firmly in Americana\,
Country\, Rock\, and Folk. On a lark\, Jay and Danny connected with R.E.M
. and Widespread Panic producer John Keane. A friendship ensued and a firs
t trip to record at Keane's studio in Athens\, GA commenced in December 20
 18. Over the next four years the lyrics and melodies of the Brotherhood ge
rminated into a fresh new Americana Roots sound.\n\nThe resulting Athens s
essions produced a first single "Hollow of the Sun\,”released by Dippy F
rog Records.\n\nA second single "Halfway to Georgia" followed featuring Ge
orgia music royalty Randall Bramblett on Hammond B3 organ and piano.\n\nTh
e Brotherhood stretched their musical roots up to Berkshire County\, MA in
early 2022 to work with famed songwriter\, producer\, and performer Johnn
y Irion at his Camp Irion Studio.\n\nHunkered down in the last days of a N
ew England cold spell\, Irion shaped two two Livingston compositions\, "Bl
ue Eyed Indian" and "Thunder &amp\; Lightning"\, into masterful messages o
f unconditional love and forgiveness.\n\n2025 opened new audiences for BOT
performing festival sets at at the Erie Blues and Jazz Festival (PA) and
Rhythm Revival at Great Blue Heron (NY).\n\nThe latest Brotherhood of Tree
s composition\, “Light of Day” is set to be released on March 4\, 2025
. Featuring veteran NYC songwriter Mike Errico on backing vocals and guita
 rs\, Randall Bramblett on B3 organ\, and John Keane on bass\, acoustics\,
 and lead guitar.\n\n\nMike Errico\n\nNew York-based recording artist\, wri
ter\, and lecturing professor Mike Errico has built his name on the streng
th of critically acclaimed releases and extensive composition for film and
TV.\n\nHe teaches songwriting at universities including Yale\, Wesleyan\,
the New School\, and NYU’s Clive Davis Institute of Recorded Music. He
was nominated for 2019’s David Payne-Carter Award for Excellence in Teac
 hing\, and taught the 2022 GRAMMY® Museum’s inaugural Summer Sessions i
n New York City.\n\nIn addition to his performing and teaching careers\, E
rrico’s opinions and insights have appeared in publications including Th
e New York Times\, CNN\, the Wall Street Journal\, Fast Company\, and many
others.\n\nMusic\, Lyrics\, and Life (Backbeat) is his first book.\n\n
