DESCRIPTION:Join us for a celebration of local songwriting talent. Four loc
 al songwriters will share some of the songs and will help bring on the fes
 tive spirit of the season. The evening performance will include a songwrit
 er-in-the-round session\, a set from the band Deep Blue Rising\, and some 
 original holiday-themed songs.\n\nDeep Blue Rising\nThis talented local gr
 oup features the songs and guitar playing of Dan Casula and Steve Martel a
 nd the expressive vocals of singer Debbie Steuhler. Keyboardist Chuck Fiel
 ds (of Several Species\, a popular Pink Floyd cover band) and drummer Greg
  Schneider fill out this versatile group that first formed in 2014. In 201
 5\, Blue Rising recorded a studio album at Insight studios\, and then more
  recently reunited for a second round of original songs and recordings.
