DESCRIPTION:After a sold-out show here nearly two years ago\, The Old Part 
 of Town return with another special acoustic performance\, bringing with t
 hem their eclectic blend of roots-Americana\, folk-rock\, country-blues\, 
 and bluegrass. Showcasing tight harmonies\, tasteful musicianship\, stando
 ut songwriting\, and an infectious on-stage camaraderie\, the band feature
 s singer-songwriters and multi-instrumentalists Matt Douglass and Sam Nitz
 berg\, Upright Dave Frieman on bass\, Steve Raskin on drums\, and Lynn Kas
 dorf on pedal steel. And in what's sure to make it an even more memorable 
 evening\, their old band mate\, fiddler Brian Whaley\, will be sitting in.
 \n\nIn 2015 The Old Part Of Town recorded their self-titled debut CD\, gar
 nering strong reviews. “Second Avenue” was released in 2018\, followed
  by 2021’s “Something Special” and “Inside Out” in 2023. Over th
 e last several years they’ve augmented their performance schedules to in
 clude curating and hosting special tribute concerts to John Prine\, The Ba
 nd\, Bob Dylan\, and Neil Young.
