DESCRIPTION:The properties of acrylic and watercolor mean that\, like oil a
 nd water\, they don’t mix. But that’s what makes this painting worksho
 p so interesting. The transparency of watercolor means we frequently work 
 from background to foreground\, but in this workshop\, we’ll first paint
  a beautiful foreground tree with all its details using matte acrylics. Be
 cause the base of acrylic is a polymer\, we can then paint over our tree w
 ith watercolor to create our background. Mats will be provided to render o
 ur mixed media painting ready for framing. All materials provided.
