 t solo album ‘Morning’ on Sunnyside Records. ‘Morning’ showcases S
 tevens’ rich vocal delivery as it ebbs between intimate personal stories
  and stunning symphonic textures\, treating the vastness of the human cond
 ition with painterly impressions and an empathetic disposition. Glide Maga
 zine wrote “Sami Stevens did more than impress with her first solo outin
 g\, she quickly established herself as one of the most promising songwrite
 rs to appear in the past few years.”\n\nFor this show\, Sami will featur
 e acclaimed tenor saxophonist and long time collaborator Kazemde George. K
 az's latest release\, which features Sami\, is 'I Insist' on Greenleaf Re
 cords. Downbeat gave it four stars\, calling it "...an insistence of mus
 ic as not simply technical proficiency\, but as a spiritual plane to consi
 der what is at stake in imagining and remembering who we are."\n\nOther on
 going collaborations of Sami's include joining nine-time Grammy winner Nor
 ah Jones on Hammond B3 organ and background vocals as Norah tours her 2024
  release ‘Visions\,' and contributing vocals to Rose Thorne by Kenny Wol
 lesen\, The Way I Feel Inside by Marty Isenberg\, Brave New World by Tredi
 ci Bacci\, and a new one woman show by John Zorn and Jesse Harris\, curren
 tly in development.
