DESCRIPTION:An evening of Scottish Gaelic song with Seán Heely\, champion 
 fiddler\, and a musical and cultural ambassador of Scottish Gaelic culture
 .\n\nSeán has shared the stage with traditional music icons such as Liz C
 arroll\, Bonnie Rideout\, Natalie Haas\, Cathy Jordan\, Eamon O’Leary\, 
 Zan McLeod\, Maeve Gilchrist\, and Paddy Keenan.\n\nAlong with many other 
 accolades in Traditional Music\, in 2018 Seán was featured on the cover o
 f the Fiddler Magazine Winter Issue as well as an interview article on Se
 án's journey to one of the foremost young performers of his generation. I
 n April 2023\, Seán won the Dan R. MacDonald Memorial Prize from the Clan
  Donald Trust from the Gaelic Performing Arts. Seán was awarded 2023 Male
  Musician of the Year by the Ireland Tonight Radio Music Awards. In 2024\,
  Seán won 4 Gàidhlig singing Mòds including the U.S national Mòd. Seá
 n has recorded three full length internationally acclaimed albums: the lat
 est of which (“Dramagical”) has been featured on BBC Radio nan Gàidhe
 al\, RTÉ  Raidio na Gaeltachta in Ireland\, and NPR’s Thistle and Sham
 rock. Currently based in Washington DC\, Seán performs locally and abroad
  with the Seán Heely Celtic Band\, The Glencoe Lads and Jennifer Cutting
 ’s Ocean Celtic Quartet.
