  So it ought to come as no surprise that the critically-acclaimed Annapoli
 s Maryland-based trio\, appropriately dubbed Pressing Strings\, has infuse
 d those elements within their musical mantra the beginning. The band —Jo
 rdan Sokel (Guitar/Vocals)\, Nick Welker (Bass\, Vocals)\, and Justin Krug
 er (Drums\, Vocals) can trace its origins to Sokel’s initial fascination
  with some iconic influences\, among them\, the usual suspects — Dylan\,
  Marley\, Simon\, Withers\, Al Green\, Marvin Gaye\, Led Zeppelin\, etc.\,
  as well as some more under the radar artists like Taj Mahal\, R.L. Burnsi
 de\, Junior Kimbrough\, and Nick Drake.\n\nWhiskey Feathers are an up-and-
 coming roots rock band nested in Baltimore\, MD. The band's growing catalo
 g of original music has captured audiences with songs crafted by bandleade
 r Brittain Duckworth\, who writes lyrics about heady concepts\, absent of 
 the predictable tropes and filled with intention. To get a sense of their
