SUMMARY:ToneLab: Songwriting Camp: Aug 10th - 14th (Ages 10+)
DESCRIPTION:Students in ToneLab will experience the thrill of making music 
 together through songwriting! Students will learn the fundamental techniqu
 es of writing lyrics\, melodies\, harmonies\, and musical accompaniment\, 
 combining all of these elements together to create songs of their own. Wit
 h the guidance of Common Tone teachers\, students will be given artistic
  control over their preferred musical genre\, arrangement style\, and soni
 c identity\, which will encourage collaboration\, communication\, and prob
 lem-solving. At the end of the session\, each student will have a song tha
 t fully represents their artistic vision and a chance to perform for a sma
 ll audience. Join us this summer and find your voice through song!\n\n*Par
 ents are NOT required to stay for the duration of this camp. You may drop 
 your kids off and pick them up at the start and end of each day- please ma
 ke sure that you are walking your child to and from your car to check in w
 ith the instructor– we have a busy parking lot\, and we are close to the
  road. Thank you!\n\nAbout Jacob Garcia-Buñuel:\nJacob Garcia-Buñuel is 
 a Baltimore-raised composer\, performer\, and music teacher with a lifelon
 g love for storytelling through song. He studied vocal music at the Baltim
 ore School for the Arts and went on to earn a degree in Composition for Fi
 lm\, TV\, and Video Games from Berklee College of Music. Jacob has taught 
 music to children from 1 to 8 years old and led engaging music classes for
  adults with disabilities across Maryland. He has also collaborated with l
 ocal and regional visual artists\, scoring original music for stop-motion 
 animations. Jacob independently writes\, records\, and performs his own so
 ngs under the name Slippy Buñuel.\n\n&nbsp\;
